Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking an experienced Senior IAM Engineer to strengthen secure access across the bank.

You will design, implement, and support robust authentication and authorization solutions using PingFederate and PingAccess, working with stakeholders across technology and security domains. • Hands-on IAM engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with PingFederate and PingAccess in complex deployments.
• Proficiency with IAM protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO2, SSO.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure authentication and authorization solutions using PingFederate and PingAccess.
• Develop and maintain custom Ping adapters, plugins, and integrations using the Ping SDK.
• Apply IAM concepts and protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO2, SSO) to deliver reliable solutions.
• Use Java development skills to build, troubleshoot, and improve IAM capabilities in Ping Identity environments.
• Work with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to support controlled delivery.
• Analyze incidents and technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure solutions.
• Share knowledge and drive improvements within the team.

Your job

Your key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and support secure authentication andauthorisationsolutions usingPingFederateandPingAccess.
