At NEP, we build the technology that keeps live productions on‑air. When millions hit play, our teams are behind the scenes making sure everything stays stable, fast, and recoverable. NEP is a global media technology partner behind major sports, entertainment, and news.

About TFC (Total Facility Control)

TFC is our in‑house, API‑first control and orchestration platform.

It connects devices, networks, and cloud workflows so engineering teams can control, route, and monitor everything from one place.

It replaces manual, box‑by‑box operations with automation, making changes faster and safer during live production.

Why this is exciting for Fullstack Engineers
  • You shape the complete experience, from React interfaces to the services behind them, for engineers operating real systems.
  • Your decisions affect reliability and usability during high‑visibility live productions.
  • You can improve how the team builds by combining sound engineering judgment with responsible AI‑assisted development.
  • You help turn unclear problems into practical decisions and software that reduces operational risk.
The role

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on React, you’ll build and evolve the user‑facing workflows and services behind our TFC platform. You’ll stay hands‑on across the stack while helping the team make sound technical decisions, deliver incrementally, and improve how we build. Your work ranges from dependable interfaces to APIs, data, and integrations that control real systems during live production.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and evolve accessible, responsive React interfaces for TFC workflows used by engineers and operators.
  • Deliver fullstack features across the UI, APIs, services, data flows, and integrations while keeping the backend language open.
  • Shape maintainable frontend architecture, component patterns, and state management as the product grows.
  • Translate ambiguous product and operational needs into clear options, technical decisions, and incremental delivery plans.
  • Set a high bar for code quality, testing, accessibility, performance, security, and production readiness.
  • Work closely with Product, design, engineering, and operational stakeholders, including offshore colleagues; manage dependencies and shared outcomes.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, document decisions and trade‑offs, and close disagreements with a clear path forward.
  • Review code and designs to improve correctness and maintainability; mentor teammates and increase the team’s autonomy.
  • Use AI‑assisted tools to explore options, plan, implement, and review work; verify generated output and remain accountable for everything shipped.
  • Challenge assumptions respectfully, champion useful innovation, and inspire teammates to improve the way the team develops software.
What we’re looking forMust-have
  • 8+ years building and supporting production software, with strong UX judgment.
  • Strong React and modern JavaScript skills, with experience building clear, responsive, maintainable user interfaces.
  • Experience shaping a design system or shared UI patterns across a product.
  • Fullstack experience designing and delivering APIs, integrations, data flows, and user‑facing features; backend language experience may vary.
  • Experience leading technical decisions within a team or domain, managing ambiguity, weighing trade‑offs, and helping the team reach clear decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex topics and align technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with offshore teams across locations and time zones.
  • Expertise in AI‑assisted development; can assess tools, improve workflows, verify generated code, and remain accountable for shipped results.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Experience with accessibility, frontend performance, and UI quality practices.
  • Experience with service‑oriented or distributed systems and their operational trade‑offs.
  • Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Observability experience, including logs, metrics, tracing, and production diagnostics.
What you do NOT need on day one
  • Prior broadcast, media industry experience.
  • Deep IP video expertise.
What this role is not about
  • You want work limited to your assigned tickets. This is a hands‑on engineering role, but it also requires team‑level technical direction and shared ownership.
  • You prefer repetitive, predictable work and are uncomfortable with changing priorities, learning, or experimentation.
  • You are not interested in AI‑assisted development or improving how the team uses it responsibly.
  • You focus on your own tasks without taking responsibility for shared outcomes or helping teammates succeed.
  • You have not worked with an offshore team. Previous experience collaborating with offshore colleagues is required.
This role is for you if
  • You bring clarity to ambiguous situations and help the team move toward a sound decision.
  • You continuously improve how software is built, including practical AI‑assisted ways of working, and inspire teammates to adopt them responsibly.
  • You keep engineering quality, communication, and collaboration standards high across the team.
  • You challenge assumptions and the status quo, disagree respectfully when needed, and help the team move forward.
Don’t meet every preferred qualification but meet the core requirements? Apply anyway

If you have 8+ years and offshore collaboration experience, we’d still like to hear from you even if you’re missing a few preferred qualifications.

Why you’ll like it here
  • Real impact: your work helps engineering teams operate faster, safer, and with fewer incidents. And that ripple effect reaches millions of viewers.
  • Modern product engineering with real‑world users: operators and engineers rely on what you ship.
  • Learning built‑in structured onboarding includes time with operators, engineers, support, product owners, and super users to understand real workflows.
