As Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing financial and operational performance across eight production facilities located in six European countries.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director Europe, you will work closely with the Director Europe, Director Operational Support & Projects, and local Finance Managers to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and quantify improvement potential.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Analysis
- Analyze actual, forecast and budget financial performance across multiple production facilities.
- Monitor and evaluate operational KPIs including:
- Capacity utilization
- Scrap rates
- Manufacturing efficiency
- Labor productivity
- Identify trends, risks, performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support monthly business reviews with meaningful analysis and recommendations.
Benchmarking & Cost Efficiency
- Develop and maintain cost efficiency benchmarks across production facilities.
- Analyze cost developments in relation to operational performance and production volumes.
- Quantify the financial impact of operational improvement initiatives.
- Identify best practices and support the implementation of improvement opportunities across sites.
Savings Reporting
- Track, validate and report operational and purchasing savings initiatives.
- Ensure consistent methodologies and calculations are applied across all facilities.
- Challenge assumptions and verify realised benefits against business expectations.
Inflation & Cost Monitoring
- Establish and maintain inflation trackers by production facility.
- Monitor developments in labour, energy, material and overhead costs.
- Support forecast and budget processes by providing insight into cost trends and inflation impacts.
Strategic Projects
Support various European projects including:
- Shared service cost allocation reviews
- Reporting standardization and process improvements
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Controlling or Manufacturing Finance.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience working across multiple sites, countries or business units is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to analyse large datasets and transform them into actionable business insights.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Able to challenge information constructively and drive fact-based decision making.
- Proactive, independent and results-oriented.
