Job summary

Dosign is seeking a Senior Engineer Elektrotechniek/hoogspanningsspecialist to lead complex 110-380 kV HV station designs and related infrastructure in the Breda region. You translate client needs into base, detail and execution designs, ensuring quality, safety and progress while shaping the expansion and renovation of the HV network.

Projects are typically ~2 years, combining office work with on-site activities.

Qualifications

• HBO-level education in electrical or energy engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer.
• Residence in Breda region or willingness to work there.
• Structured, methodical planning: able to switch between details and big picture.
• Leadership experience in projects and teams; strong team player.
• Strong communication skills; ability to share knowledge proactively.
• Interest in energy transition and sustainable solutions; HV project experience preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into executable designs for HV projects (110-380 kV).
• Develop basis, detail and execution designs for HV stations and infrastructure.
• Prepare cost calculations based on requirements and contract documents.
• Support technical managers during design and engineering phases.
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines and advise from electrical perspective.
• Share knowledge within the team and contribute to successful project completion.
• Balance technical insight with leadership within the engineering team.
• Ensure quality, progress, and safety compliance across projects.
