Doghouse Recruitment is seeking a senior backend engineer to own features from conception to deployment in a scalable, cloud-based stack.

You will work in an international team, mentoring colleagues and driving product-focused improvements across platform, B2B, and B2C offerings. The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and modern technologies in Amsterdam.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience with .NET/C# in a backend role.
• Experience with .NET 6+ and modern cloud-native stacks.
• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Hands-on Terraform and cloud platform experience.
• Experience in a product-focused company and international teams.

My client runs one of the leading online platforms in the Netherlands, used by millions of consumers and thousands of business customers. The engineering department works in multidisciplinary teams across platform, B2B and B2C products, with a flat structure and full feature ownership. The stack is modern: .NET8, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform, all running in the cloud.

You join a multidisciplinary team and take ownership of features from conception to deployment. You look beyond your own product area, understand how it connects to the rest of the system and mentor and share knowledge with your colleagues. You work in an international team with many different nationalities on a product that is constantly evolving.

Your profile:

You are a senior backend engineer with a strong system engineering mindset, a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to explain your work clearly.

• 6+ years of experience with .NET/C#

• Base salary up to 82K (OTE 88K)
