Job summary

Sia in Amsterdam is seeking senior data science consultants to lead end-to-end projects, shape client solutions and grow our data science practice. You will work in synergy with multiple practices on complex models, oversee junior staff, develop commercial proposals, and represent the firm at professional events.

You have a strong background in statistics, Python, and machine learning, with 3+ years of data science experience, fluent Dutch and English, and a passion for delivering impact for

Qualifications

• You hold a master degree or PhD in a quantitative field and have at least 3 years of data science experience.
• You show excellence in statistics and quantitative analysis, with the ability to apply models.
• You master Python and have experience with scripting or compiled languages; UNIX/Linux environment familiarity is important.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus and enthusiasm for client work is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects and manage client relationships with mid-level contacts.
• Develop and strengthen offerings through training, groups, and publication activities.
• Supervise consultants and juniors, ensuring deliverables and skills development.
• Design and develop commercial proposals and identify new business opportunities.
• Represent the firm at professional clubs, exhibitions and events.
