Job summary

A fast-growing startup in Utrecht is seeking a Senior Data Solution Engineer to take charge of the data architecture function and lay the foundations for a scalable data function. This role involves running workshops, designing complex data architectures, and building integrations. Ideal candidates have over 4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles and possess strong skills in Python and SQL along with a deep understanding of API integrations. The position offers up to €8,000/month, including various benefits and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Data Engineer, Integration Specialist, or Solution Architect.
• Strong Python and SQL - dbt and Snowflake or BigQuery are familiar territory.
• Solid experience with REST and GraphQL APIs - integrations are a core part of this job.
• Able to lead stakeholder-facing workshops and translate complex business processes into clean data architecture.
• A clear view on where AI and LLMs add real commercial value.
