Job summary
BarentsKrans in The Hague, Netherlands, seeks a senior lawyer with extensive litigation experience to cover the full spectrum of the firm's Commercial & Financial Litigation practice. You will represent major enterprises and investors, often in cross-border disputes, and collaborate with international firms.
You will guide complex cases, contribute to strategic advice, and be a leading client contact within a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Dutch law completed.
- Minimum six years' experience as a lawyer, possibly complemented by in-house experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, insolvency, contract and/or liability law.
- Demonstrated long-standing litigation experience.
- Post-academic specialization program completed.
- Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English.
- Availability as soon as possible (start date negotiable).
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior associate with broad litigation practice; represent large enterprises and investors domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with other law firms, including US and UK firms, on complex disputes.
- Shape the expansion of the practice and act as a key contact for clients.
