Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its EMEA Financial Services practice in Amsterdam. You will drive crisis and transformation engagements, collaborating with banks, asset managers and fintech clients, delivering insights and strategic recommendations.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree and experience at Tier1 firms or financial institutions, with strong analytical, Excel modelling and communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, engineering or finance (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience as a Consultant or Senior Consultant at a Tier1 strategy house or financial services institution is required.
• Experience in or affinity with the financial services ecosystem (banks, regulators, fintech) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and structure client projects within the FTI EMEA Financial Services practice.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver analyses and recommendations.
• Perform operational and financial analyses to identify strengths and pain points for clients.
• Translate insights into clear action plans and client-ready presentations (C‑suite level).
• Support crisis and transformation engagements, including risk, reform, and fintech initiatives.
• Travel to client sites and FTI offices nationally or internationally as needed.
