Job summary

Sia is seeking a Senior Consultant in Cloud Security to design, implement and govern security for applications and data across public, private and hybrid clouds for our key account clients.

You will lead cloud architecture, deliver PoCs, train users, help develop CyberLab SaaS offerings, and influence firm strategy through publications and cross-border projects, based in Amsterdam with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering/computer science/statistics/econometrics.
• 3–6 years relevant working experience within a consultancy firm with experience in cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Knowledge in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or Power Shell.
• Knowledge in IP Networks, Operating Systems (Unix / Linux, Windows and/or macOS), Cloud (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), Applications (Web Server, BDD, Middleware, etc) as well as Cryptography; knowledge in Blockchain would be a real plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and govern security for applications and data across cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Benchmark and decision support for technical choices around Cloud solutions and offers.
• Design of Cloud solutions both technically and functionally.
• Realization of PoC/PoV and automation of the installation of technical bases.
• New architectural principles (micro services, containers, etc.) and new deployment methods induced by Cloud infrastructures.
• Training of users and administrators in the deployed solutions.
• Innovate within the Sia CyberLab, developing new SaaS offers and solutions around AI.
• Become a trainer in Cybersecurity within the Sia Cyber Institute.
• Participate in publication plans and represent the firm at professional events.
• Take part in commercial proposals and identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Manage end-to-end projects or sub-projects with proactive reporting to managers and clients.
• Maintain solid customer relationships and mentor consultants.
