Job summary

ClickHouse, a globally distributed company, is seeking a senior backend engineer to join the Product Metrics team. You will design, build, operate and maintain petabyte-scale systems that store trillions of records and process millions of events per second.

You will collaborate across teams, own reliability and cost-efficiency, mentor colleagues, and participate in on-call rotations; experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and ClickHouse is valuable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• 2+ years of Go development experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience with ClickHouse storage/shipping and retrieval.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Help determine the roadmap for the Product Metrics team.
• Collaborate to deliver new features and iterate on them.
• Design, build, operate and maintain petabyte-scale systems.
• Ensure performance, reliability, availability and cost-efficiency of Product Metrics systems.
• Mentor teammates and participate in design discussions; join on-call rotations.
