Accenture the Netherlands is seeking a senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, test and deploy cloud solutions on Azure, integrating with on-prem systems. You will lead deployment strategies and act as a subject matter expert within a managed service team.

The role requires 4–5 years of Azure experience, HBO IT-related education, and strong communication with stakeholders. You will work in a hybrid setup in Amsterdam, collaborating with architects, security consultants, and strategy teams

What you'll do:

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud application solutions that integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructure, on Azure. Your day-to-day activities will include deploying infrastructure and platform environments, creating proofs of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert for the team and the client. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps is required. Advanced proficiency in Cloud Automation DevOps is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Design and Build is suggested.

Day to day work:

• Develop and refine cloud deployment strategies to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud and on-premises systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights and proposing innovative solutions.
• Drive and lead the adoption of best practices in cloud security and compliance within the project environment.
• Helps the team with transformation to the new way of working and using the best practices
• All the work will be done in a managed service team including standby shifts.

What we're looking for:

• Education: minimal HBO (Bedrijfskundige/technical) Informatica, Infra related studies
• Experience: 4-5 years
• Skills: Microsoft Azure Administration, Cloud infrastructure, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Design and building new or change solutions, Windows and Linux experience, architectural configuration and understanding, Ansible, communication skills and stakeholder management
• Language: English and/or Dutch
• Leadership: Good communication skills, coaching, relationship- and stakeholder management
