Job summary

FiSer Consulting is seeking a Senior Banking Consultant to lead transformation projects for banks and fintech clients in Amsterdam. You’ll structure solutions, manage delivery and mentor junior consultants while engaging with senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes ownership, cross-functional collaboration and driving regulatory and operational change within a dynamic consultancy. Dutch language is a plus, English fluency required, with clear growth opportunities in FiSer's Banking practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (WO) in Business, Economics, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in banking, financial services, fintech or consulting.
• Proven experience leading transformation projects, PMOs, workstreams or implementation programmes.
• Experience with banking transformation, change management, regulatory change, business analysis or operational improvement.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a strong plus.
• Based in the Netherlands with valid work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead banking transformation projects and workstreams from analysis to implementation.
• Own project scope, planning, timelines, stakeholder management and deliverables.
• Advise clients on regulatory change, risk, finance, operations and digital transformation.
• Drive change initiatives, process improvements and organizational transformation.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to high-quality project delivery.
• Support business development and growth of FiSer's Banking practice.
