Job summary

Prosus in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build secure, configurable agent runtimes and distributed systems powering agentic AI products across the group. You will design capabilities for the agent runtime, orchestrate models and tools, and ensure reliable, observable services with Go at the core.

Applicants should bring strong Go, AWS, and LLM integration experience, and collaborate with product and AI colleagues to shape requirements and ship safe, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have Go, AWS, LLMs, AI models, tool-calling systems, agentic architectures, MCP, A2A, CI/CD, automated testing, production observability, AI coding tools, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design a new capability for the agent runtime.
• Improve how models and tools are orchestrated.
• Investigate production reliability issues.
• Take an integration from early prototype to a secure, observable service.
• Build in Go.
• Review code and make architectural decisions with the team.
• Work closely with product, platform and AI colleagues to shape requirements, test ideas and ship them safely.
• Improve testing, deployment and observability foundations.
