Context Labs is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help drive product initiatives within the Immutably Platform and analytics spaces. You will lead the services engineering team, shaping architecture and hands-on implementation.

The role requires strong backend experience across APIs, distributed systems, and security, with mentoring responsibilities and collaboration across time zones. Location is Amsterdam, NL, with a preference for on-site work.

Formación

• Strong full-stack development experience with end-to-end architecture understanding.
• Experience with distributed ledger systems and consensus algorithms.
• Knowledge of cryptography, data integrity, and application security.
• Proficiency with Java frameworks (Spring, Quarkus, Helidon).
• Experience with Docker-based microservices and Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead services engineering team as technical authority and guide architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and platform services for Immutably Platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with Product and Engineering.
• Establish engineering best practices through code, architecture, and reviews.
• Collaborate in Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-team delivery.
• Coordinate development across distributed teams and time zones.
