Job summary

NN Group in The Netherlands seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to design and maintain automation workflows using Aria Automation components and Ansible. You will build hybrid cloud solutions, integrate APIs, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

The role emphasizes security best practices, IaC tooling, and on-prem/infrastructure knowledge, with emphasis on documentation and self-service automation for customers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing and managing automation workflows with Aria Automation components (Orchestrator, Assembler, Service Broker)
• Strong skills in writing and executing Ansible playbooks, with AWX experience
• Familiar with IaC principles and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc
• Proficient in integrating systems via RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Experience with Kubernetes and CD tools such as Argo CD
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional communications
• Background in on-prem infrastructure (OS, databases, virtualization)
• Experience applying security baselines such as CIS or STIG
• Fluent in Markdown with extensive documentation history

Responsibilities

• You will work in the Managed IaaS Enablement team driving automation adoption in a hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with digital product teams to integrate automations for self-service access
• Apply agile methodologies to achieve sprint goals
