Job summary

Selby Jennings is recruiting a transactional real estate lawyer for a leading international law firm in Amsterdam. You will advise on high-value real estate transactions for a sophisticated client base of global investors, funds and developers.

The role requires a Dutch-qualified lawyer with 3–8 years PQE, strong drafting and commercial awareness, and fluent English (Dutch preferred). You will work with international offices and partners on end-to-end deals.

Qualifications

• Dutch-qualified advocaat with strong transactional real estate experience.
• 3–8 years post-qualification experience in transactional real estate.
• Experience at an international or leading Dutch firm preferred.

A leading international law firm is expanding its Amsterdam real estate practice and is looking for a transactional real estate lawyer to join a growing, internationally focused team. You'll advise a sophisticated client base of global institutional investors, funds and developers on high-value real estate transactions across the Dutch and cross-border markets.

What you'll do

• Advise on real estate acquisitions, disposals, investments and portfolio transactions.
• Work directly with international investor clients and cross-border deal teams.
• Support on real estate finance and structuring aspects alongside the firm's wider finance practice.
• Manage transactions end to end, working closely with Partners and international offices.

What we're looking for

• Dutch-qualified lawyer (advocaat) with strong transactional real estate experience.
• Typically 3-8 years' post-qualification experience in transactional real estate.
• Background gained at a recognised international or leading Dutch firm.
• Comfortable acting for institutional and international clients.
• Strong drafting, commercial awareness and fluent English (Dutch preferred).
