Job summary

HID Global is seeking an Associate General Counsel in the Netherlands to serve as lead legal advisor for the Secure Identity and Issuance business unit. You will partner with business leaders across bid teams, product management, sales, engineering, and procurement to structure commercial agreements and address regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in the Netherlands.
• Experience as in-house counsel for global tech or government-related solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with European and international public procurement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial and government transactions (customer agreements, tenders, licenses, SaaS, etc.).
• Provide guidance during bid/tender preparation, including risk assessment and warranties.
• Develop and maintain scalable contract architectures, playbooks, and governance frameworks.
