Job summary

Newtone seeks a Senior Audit Assistant to immerse in dynamic controls and financial structures, collaborating with clients and colleagues to analyze financial aspects and sustainability using data analysis.

You will work under the audit lead on assignments, prepare audit plans and work programs, and guide interns or working students, blending hands-on audit tasks with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a completed WO degree (e.g., Accountancy).
• 2–4 years of experience in the industry.
• Proficient in Dutch, written and spoken.
• Ability to articulate messages clearly to colleagues, clients, and management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the audit plan and customize work programs.
• Plan and execute audit tasks (interim and balance sheet) with client and team.
• Document results in the working papers per applicable regulations.
• Audit more complex processes and related financial statement items.
• Draft concepts/reports for complex assignments.
