Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Dutch Branch is seeking a Senior AI/ML Consultant to lead end-to-end AI/ML engagements for enterprise customers in the Amsterdam area. You will architect and deliver advanced AI/ML solutions using AWS Bedrock and SageMaker, while mentoring junior consultants and shaping delivery roadmaps.

You will translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes, influence client AI strategy, and drive innovation across the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cloud-based solutions, systems, networks, and operating systems.
• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with an object oriented language.
• Experience in data and machine learning engineering and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience building complex highly-scalable systems with predictive models or ML applications.
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, ML, and serverless technologies.
• Experience in large-scale project management with customers.
• Experience with ML toolkits such as MXNet, TensorFlow, Caffe and PyTorch.
• Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.

Job description

As a Senior AI/ML Consultant in AWS Professional Services, you will lead the delivery of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for our enterprise customers. You'll drive innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, shape technical strategy, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout their AI transformation journey.

Key job responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML engagements, from strategic planning through to pre-production deployment and optimisation
2. Architect and implement advanced solutions leveraging AWS's AI/ML services, with particular focus on Generative AI using Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker
3. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants while driving best practices across delivery teams
4. Partner with customers to translate business challenges into measurable ML outcomes and clear delivery roadmaps
5. Drive innovation in applied AI/ML, contributing to methodologies and reusable solutions across the practice
6. Influence customer AI strategy through technical expertise and industry insights
7. Lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate across stakeholder groups to deliver high-impact AI solutions
