Job summary

Knegt International in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Agricultural Machinery Mechanic (EV Diagnostics Specialist) to act as the technical authority on the shop floor. You will diagnose faults in drivetrain, hydraulics and control systems, perform maintenance on EV high-voltage systems, and coach junior mechanics.

You will lead major overhauls and projects, contribute to workshop efficiency, and have room for EV diagnostics training.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3/4 certificate in agricultural mechanisation.
• 5+ years of experience in agricultural mechanisation.
• Knowledge of diesel, hydraulics and advanced electronics.
• NEN 9140 VP-EV certification for EV work or pursuing it.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex faults in drivetrain, hydraulics, and control systems.
• Maintain and repair EV high-voltage systems (EV tractors).
• Coach and instruct junior and medior mechanics.
• Lead mechanic for major overhauls and projects.
• Suggest process improvements to boost workshop efficiency.

Senior Agricultural Machinery Mechanic (EV Diagnostics Specialist)

As a Senior Mechanic you are the technical authority on the shop floor and the first expert for our electric tractors.

You solve complex mechatronic faults and coach colleagues in their development.

• Diagnosing and resolving complex faults in the drivetrain, hydraulics and control systems
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on electric high-voltage systems (EV tractors)
• Coaching and instructing Junior and Medior Mechanics
• Acting as Lead Mechanic for major overhauls and projects
• Actively contributing ideas on process improvements and efficiency in the workshop

Who are you?

• You have MBO level 3/4 and more than 5 years of experience in (agricultural) mechanisation
• You have extensive knowledge of diesel, hydraulics and advanced electronics
• You hold (or want to obtain) the NEN 9140 VP-EV certification for EV work
• You are analytically strong, accurate and take initiative
• You enjoy coaching colleagues and sharing knowledge
