Job summary

Syngenta in Enkhuizen seeks a QC Seed Health Development Analyst to help ensure healthy, high-quality vegetable seeds worldwide. You will perform laboratory work to develop and validate seed health testing methods and contribute to reliable data.

You will follow established protocols, record results, troubleshoot when needed, and work with QC Operations to turn methods into practical tests that support day-to-day quality control. Experience with nucleic acid extraction and qPCR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with nucleic acid extraction and qPCR.
• Knowledge of ELISA and plating is an advantage.
• Familiarity with LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory experiments to develop, optimize and validate seed health testing methods.
• Follow established protocols and record results accurately.
• Troubleshoot results requiring further investigation and maintain lab procedures.
• Generate robust data to support quality-control decisions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with QC Operations to translate methods into practical tests.
