Solid Professionals is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to maintain, secure, and improve complex IT infrastructures. You will handle day-to-day operations, configure security platforms, and contribute to technical designs.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT/cybersecurity degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Preferably 2–3 years of relevant security engineering/infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with security tech such as Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, Cisco ASA/ESA.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, protocols and platform management.
• Experience with lifecycle management: upgrades, patches, licensing, remediation.
• Familiarity with automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Git, Python.
• Certifications like Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, F5-CTS or Cisco security certs are a plus.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Structured work approach and strong problem-solving, team collaboration.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Aufgaben

• Operate and maintain multiple security platforms to ensure secure, stable IT environments.
• Perform lifecycle management: upgrades, patches, licensing, hardware refreshes.
• Investigate incidents and troubleshoot to support incident resolution.
• Design, implement and configure security solutions; support automation efforts.
• Collaborate with security engineers, infra specialists and operations teams.
