Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking a proactive SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations team in Utrecht. The role starts as a 12-month contract with a view to permanent employment, focusing on monitoring, detection, and rapid response to security incidents.

You will work with Microsoft Defender and Splunk SIEM to investigate incidents, develop detection rules, and collaborate with IT to remediate vulnerabilities while keeping documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a SOC Analyst or in a similar Cyber Security role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender.
• Strong knowledge of Splunk SIEM for security monitoring and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are looking for a proactive SOC Analyst to join a growing Security Operations team based in Utrecht. This role starts as a 12-month contract with the intention of transitioning into a permanent position. You will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, helping to protect critical IT environments while continuously improving the organization's security posture. Working in a collaborative team, you will leverage industry-leading security tools to identify threats, investigate incidents, and support ongoing security improvements.
