Job summary

Enfint in Amsterdam seeks a Security Operations/Cloud Security specialist to monitor production environments and investigate alerts within a FinTech-regulated setting.

You will build and tune SIEM detection rules, assess risks across IAM and networking, manage vulnerabilities, run access reviews, and support risk assessments and security reviews with engineers.

Qualifications

• 6 years max in security operations, cloud security, or security engineering.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP and SIEM tools.
• Experience investigating alerts and incidents; familiarity with vulnerability management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; pragmatic security mindset.
• Based in the Netherlands and able to work from Amsterdam regularly.

• Monitor cloud and production environments and investigate security alerts;
• Build and tune SIEM detection rules, dashboards and alerts;
• Assess risks across cloud IAM, networking and infrastructure;
• Manage vulnerabilities and help teams prioritise remediation;
• Run access reviews and improve least-privilege controls;
• Contribute to threat modelling and advise on secure architectural decisions;
• Participate in the on-call rotation and act as a first responder during incidents;
• Translate regulatory requirements into effective technical controls;
• Support risk assessments, penetration tests and third-party security reviews;
• Contribute to AI security and data-governance practices;
• Use Python, Bash or similar languages to automate operational security tasks;
• Strengthen security culture through practical guidance and collaboration.

• Up to 6 years of experience in Security Operations, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security or Security Engineering;
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure or GCP;
• Understanding of cloud IAM, networking, logging and infrastructure security;
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and security-monitoring tooling;
• Experience investigating alerts and responding to incidents;
• Familiarity with vulnerability and identity management;
• Ability to assess technical risks and advise engineers on architecture;
• Comfortable using Python, Bash or similar scripting languages;
• Clear communicator with a pragmatic approach to security and risk;
• Based in the Netherlands and able to work regularly from Amsterdam;
• Nice to have: experience in fintech, regulated environments, PCI DSS, SOC 2, EDR, detection engineering, penetration testing, AI governance or CI/CD security.
