Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an experienced Security Engineer for an initial 3‑month contract in Amsterdam, with expected extensions up to 9–12 months in 3‑month cycles. The role focuses on designing, implementing and improving enterprise security platforms, with emphasis on F5 and network security.

You will contribute to architecture, roadmaps and planning, or act as hands-on specialist depending on seniority, and you will develop automation using Ansible, Terraform and Git workflows while

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with network security platforms, with F5 expertise emphasized.
• Experience in security architecture, design and implementation.
• For lead roles: proven technical leadership and consulting skills.
• Experience developing Ansible playbooks, Terraform modules and Git usage.
• Certifications such as PCNSE, PCNSC, F5 CTS/CSE, Check Point CCSE/CCSM or Cisco CCIE Security are advantageous.
• Comfort working in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement enterprise security solutions.
• Manage and optimize platforms including F5, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA and Cisco ESA/IronPort.
• Lead technical initiatives and contribute to roadmaps, planning and solution design where applicable.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, particularly in F5 and Palo Alto technologies.
• Develop and implement automation using Ansible, Terraform and Git workflows.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering and consulting teams.
• Support troubleshooting and complex technical challenges.
• Participate in a 24/7 support rotation.

The role

We are looking for experienced Security Engineers to design, implement and improve enterprise security platforms. Depending on your seniority, you will either take a technical leadership role, contributing to architecture, roadmaps and planning, or act as a hands‑on specialist with a strong focus on F5 and network security. You will work across multiple security technologies, with an emphasis on implementation, automation and continuous improvement.
