Job summary

WLG is seeking a security accreditation professional to oversee risk assessments and accreditation activities for government/military-grade systems. You will craft documentation, coordinate testing, and liaise with authorities to streamline approvals.

The role requires independent work, strong network knowledge, and fluent English, with a track record delivering critical systems in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Several years in cyber security, including security architecture, service delivery or risk management.
• Direct experience accrediting major system projects in large organisations.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and supporting tools.
• Solid network deployment experience and modern addressing.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate industry teams.
• Track record delivering systems for government, military or industry customers.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Provide accreditation input into project proposals, statements of work and related documentation.
• Conduct security risk assessments for communication and information systems.
• Identify, plan and manage accreditation documentation (system descriptions, security architecture, accreditation plans, risk assessment reports, security requirement statements, operating procedures, test/verification plan).
• Witness security testing per plan and coordinate remediation with involved teams.
• Build relationships with accreditation authorities and internal units to streamline approvals.
• Feed accreditation status into project reporting, including highlights and exceptions.
• Brief and present on accreditation to non-specialist audience.
