Job summary

ESA’s PMSO Team Lead for Secure Connectivity oversees planning, budgeting, risks and governance for the Secure Connectivity Programme within the Directorate of Controlling. You will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage procurement and contract activities, and ensure high standards of project control across ESA’s international team.

You will report to the Head of the PMSO RNC EU Programmes Office and contribute to decision-making with robust reporting, dashboards and risk analyses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant domain and at least five years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the overall programmatic aspects of the Secure Connectivity Programme (cost, schedule, resources, risks).
• Implement planning and control procedures to provide full visibility of progress using established systems and procedures.
• Coordinate risk management and schedule activities, identify issues, propose mitigations and prepare risk reports.
• Prepare tender documents and participate in evaluation of proposals.
• Prepare information for contract negotiations and contribute to procurement processes.
• Oversee financial implementation and acceptance of deliverables.
• Provide inputs for periodic reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to project reviews and ensure changes are controlled and coherent.
• Interface with industry on programmatic matters and advise on best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and support the unit in standardizing procedures.
• Lead day-to-day coordination of the project control team and provide guidance.
