Job summary

Garmin is seeking a Production Engineer to drive the setup and improvement of indoor cycling trainer production in Oegstgeest. You will translate lean principles into mass production, develop SOPs, factory layouts, PFMEAs and control plans, and support scaling from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering or LiS required.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Lean Six Sigma green or black belt preferred.
Understanding of ECO implementations and documentation work.

Responsibilities

Provide manufacturing cost estimates for new products in development and input for design for manufacturability.
Develop complex process instructions, assembly flow charts, PFMEA and control plans.
Calculate build times and analyze processes for cost, labor and quality improvements.
Participate in continuous improvement meetings.
Contribute to design reviews with manufacturability-focused alternate solutions.
