Job summary

Aramco seeks a Process Online Analyzer Specialist to join the Advanced Analytical Solutions Division. The role focuses on evaluating, selecting, and developing analyzers and sensing tech for real-time process monitoring, collaborating with chemists, process engineers, and R&D to deliver technical solutions.

Candidates should hold a master's in chemistry or chemical engineering, with a PhD preferred, and have extensive hands-on experience with chromatography and physical property analyzers in oil

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in process monitoring, especially in process controls, analyzers, and sampling systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with chromatography and physical property analyzers in oil & gas/petrochemical contexts preferred.
• Demonstrated achievements through patents and publications preferred.
• Experience developing process monitoring solutions for deployment in gas processing, refining, and related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide process analyzer system support to R&D teams, operations, and pilot plant activities using analytical techniques.
• Track analyzer performance, perform failure analyses, and drive improvements.
• Develop and identify new analytical solutions to monitor real-time process composition.
• Support design, selection, installation, and commissioning of new process analyzer systems.
• Carry out investigative studies in oil and gas processing plants using state-of-the-art analyzers.
• Manage projects for implementations of process analyzer technologies, including calibration and maintenance procedures.
• Support and guide in-house technology development programs.
• Use project management tools to set objectives, scope, and timely execution.
• Publish patents and papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers in analyzers and sampling systems.
