Orion Engineering in Leiden, Netherlands, seeks a Satellite Assembly Technician to contribute to the assembly, integration and testing of advanced telecommunications satellites. You will work in a multidisciplinary production team on next‑generation satellites.

You will join a team supporting the production of next-generation telecommunications satellites that will form part of a large-scale satellite constellation. This project aims to deliver hundreds of satellites that will enable global communication services from space.

Position

As a Satellite Assembly Technician, you will contribute to the assembly, integration, and testing of advanced telecommunications satellites within a large-scale aerospace program. Working as part of a multidisciplinary production team, you will be involved in a variety of mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic assembly activities that support the complete build process of satellite systems.

Depending on your experience and project requirements, your work may include assembling structural components, installing wiring and electronic assemblies, performing mechanical fitting activities, conducting inspections and measurements, and supporting integration and testing activities. You will work with technical drawings, assembly instructions, precision tools, and testing equipment to ensure all components meet the strict quality standards required within the aerospace industry.
