Job summary

Huxley is seeking an experienced SAP PP/PM Master Data Consultant for a freelance 6-month contract with hybrid working. The role focuses on design, management, and optimisation of master data supporting Production Planning and Plant Maintenance across manufacturing operations.

You will drive data readiness for a major SAP S/4HANA transformation, collaborate with multiple business functions, and ensure data structures meet enterprise requirements. Dutch language skills are advantageous.

SAP PP/PM Master Data Consultant

Freelance | Initial 6-Month Contract | Hybrid Working

Our client, a leading international manufacturer operating complex production and processing facilities, is seeking an experienced SAP PP/PM Master Data Consultant to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This is a highly functional role focused on the design, management, and optimisation of master data supporting Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) processes across manufacturing operations. The successful consultant will play a key role in ensuring master data readiness for an enterprise-wide ERP transformation. Please note that this position is not focused on SAP MDG. Candidates should bring strong expertise in the PP and PM process domains and the master data structures that underpin manufacturing and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise PP and PM master data to support manufacturing and maintenance operations.
• Ensure data structures, governance, and dependencies are aligned with S/4HANA business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
• Support data readiness activities for a large-scale SAP transformation programme.
• Translate operational process requirements into effective master data solutions.
• Drive consistency and quality of master data across multiple manufacturing sites.

Required Experience

• Extensive functional expertise within SAP Production Planning (PP) and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Deep understanding of master data objects, relationships, and dependencies supporting production and maintenance processes.
• Proven experience delivering SAP workstreams within S/4HANA programmes.
• Strong background in manufacturing, food production, process industries, FMCG, or other asset-intensive environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing, production, and maintenance operations.
• Dutch language skills would be advantageous.
