Job summary

Stafide is seeking a senior SAP application developer to design and implement SAPUI5/Fiori applications in Amsterdam. The role combines frontend SAPUI5 with CAP backend services to deliver integrated solutions.

You will build CDS data models, expose OData V2/V4 and REST APIs, and deploy cloud-native applications on SAP BTP. Collaboration with Agile teams and stakeholders is essential, with emphasis on security, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional SAP application development experience.
• Hands-on SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development.
• Experience with CAP with Node.js or Java.
• Experience with CDS data modeling, OData, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with authentication and secure development practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive SAPUI5/Fiori applications following SAP user experience (UX) standards.
• Build backend services, business logic, and application functionality using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js or Java.
• Design, develop, and integrate OData V2/V4 services and REST APIs to support seamless communication between applications and backend systems.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) data models and service definitions.
• Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability by following development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support application development, deployment, and maintenance.

What You Bring to the Table

• 6–8 years of overall professional experience in SAP application development or related software development roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori application development.
• Practical experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), using Node.js or Java.
• Experience with CDS data modeling, service definitions, OData V2/V4, and REST API integration.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, cloud-native application development, and application deployment.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure application development practices.
• Strong debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Develop end‑to‑end SAP applications by combining frontend SAPUI5/Fiori development with backend CAP services.
