Job description

As a SAP BTP HANA Cloud Consultant, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BTP HANA Cloud data models and database solutions for enterprise applications.
• Build and optimize Calculation Views, Table Functions, SQL Stored Procedures, and HANA‑native artifacts.
• Lead SAP HANA Cloud migration initiatives, including migration from XS Classic to XS Advanced (XSA) environments.
• Participate in end‑to‑end SAP HANA implementation projects, ensuring scalable, high‑performance, and reliable solutions.
• Develop and support data integration frameworks using SDA, SDI, and SLT technologies.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient HANA Cloud solutions.
• Implement DevOps best practices using tools such as Jenkins and BitBucket to support CI/CD processes.
• Ensure data models, database objects, and integrations meet performance, security, and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database, migration, and integration issues within SAP HANA environments.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6–8 years of overall experience in SAP HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Data Management technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling.
• Strong expertise in Calculation Views, Table Functions, SQL Stored Procedures, and HANA data modeling.
• Experience working on at least two full lifecycle SAP HANA implementation projects in production environments.
• Deep understanding of XS Advanced (XSA) architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with XSA migration projects.
• Experience performing SAP HANA Cloud migrations using XSA Migration Toolkit.
• Strong knowledge of XSOData and XSJS development.
• Good understanding of SAP BW on HANA environments.
• Experience with data provisioning and integration technologies including SDA, SDI, and SLT.
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and BitBucket.
• Strong SQL development and database optimization skills.
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud migration projects is highly preferred.
• Strong customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Design and implement enterprise‑grade SAP HANA Cloud solutions.
• Develop high‑performing data models and database objects aligned with business requirements.
• Execute complex HANA Cloud and XSA migration projects with minimal operational impact.
• Analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting SAP HANA development lifecycles.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources using SAP data provisioning technologies.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in dynamic project environments.
