Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced SAP HANA XS Modeler for a fixed-term assignment. You will design, build and continuously improve the client's online platform with a focus on resiliency and availability, while adopting best practices and new technologies.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP BTP HANA Cloud modeling, XSA migration experience, strong SQL, and hands-on work across full-cycle HANA implementations. Collaboration and independent problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP BTP HANA Cloud modeling experience (Calculation Views, Table Functions, SQL)
• 2 years XSA migration experience mandatory (HANA Cloud migration with XSA Toolkit)
• Good SQL skills and knowledge of SAP BW on HANA
• Experience on at least two full-cycle HANA implementations as a HANA Modeler
• XSODATA, XSJS familiarity; SDA/SDI/SLT concepts
• DevOps tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins; HANA Cloud migration a plus
• Strong customer focus and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment; proactive problem-solving and teamwork

Job Description

Requirements

• 5 years of strong SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling experience, including Calculation Views, Table Functions, and SQL Stored Procedures.
• 2 years of XSA migration experience is mandatory, including HANA Cloud migration using the XSA Migration Toolkit.
• Good working knowledge of SAP BW on HANA and strong SQL skills.
• Must have experience working on at least two full-cycle HANA implementations as a HANA Modeler in a production environment, along with a deep understanding of XS Advanced (XSA) features and capabilities.
• Experience with XSODATA, XSJS, and familiarity with SDA, SDI, and SLT concepts are also required.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins is essential. Prior experience in HANA Cloud migration is an added advantage.
