Job summary

Beequip seeks a Sales Manager Inland Shipping in Rotterdam to act as the inland shipping expert, structuring tailored financing for skippers, lessors and traders. You will build and maintain a regional and international network while driving growth and coordinating complex financing requests with internal teams.

You report to the Head of International Sales and enjoy flexible, hybrid working arrangements, a very attractive bonus scheme up to 20% and a non-contributory pension.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant, independent commercial or operational experience.
• Proven experience in sale or financing of heavy equipment.
• Deep knowledge of the inland shipping sector and its players.
• Strong regional and international network.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise end users, landlords and intermediaries on tailored financing solutions.
• Grow Beequip's inland shipping client base and networks of partners.
• Coordinate with colleagues to set up and execute complex financing requests.

On behalf of Beequip, MARPRO Group is looking for a Sales Manager Inland Shipping for the office in Rotterdam. You report to the company's Head of International Sales.

The position

As Sales Manager Inland Shipping, you are Beequip's expert in inland shipping; Rhine barges, barges and barges hold no secrets for you. You determine how big Beequip will become in this segment and put Beequip’s maritime services in inland shipping firmly on the map. With every financing you arrange, you help an entrepreneur move forward: a skipper who can continue sailing, a lessor who expands his fleet or a trader who seizes his opportunity. Financing is never the brake for you, but the engine.

In this independent role, you advise end users, landlords and intermediaries. With your creativity and entrepreneurial drive, you offer tailor‑made solutions that help customers and partners grow. You will actively contribute to the growth of our maritime equipment portfolio, expand the network of customers, intermediaries and vendors and maintain these relationships. You follow the market closely, know the current value of the equipment and coordinate closely with colleagues internally to successfully set up and execute complex financing requests. In this way, you will contribute to achieving the turnover and margin targets in the Inland Shipping and Maritime class.

Professional Qualifications

• You have at least 10 years of relevant work experience in an independent, commercial and/or operational position.
• You have demonstrable experience in the sale or financing of heavy equipment.
• You know the inland shipping sector through and through and from the inside.
• You have built up a strong regional and international network.
• Because you travel regularly, you are at least fluent in English, in addition to excellent Dutch. German is considered to be an advantage.
