Collie builds technology that enables farmers to move their herd with just a few taps on their screen using a collar and an app. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for interested farmers, turning curiosity into conversations, demos, and well-prepared handovers to Account Executives.
As a Sales Development Representative at Collie, you will be the first point of contact for farmers who have shown interest or are a strong fit for the target profile. Working with inbound leads and targeted outbound lists, you will assess whether there is a concrete match and schedule demos, webinars, or farm visits accordingly. By collaborating closely with Marketing and Account Executives, you will ensure that warm prospects are handed over with full context.
In this role, you will report to the Sales Lead.
Collie offers a small, fast-paced working environment with direct communication and plenty of autonomy in how you organize your work. Close collaboration with Marketing, Account Executives, and the wider team is central to the role. You'll have opportunities to progress into an Account Executive or senior inside-sales position, or help shape the team as Collie continues to grow.
A strong candidate will feel comfortable speaking with farmers, communicate in a practical and trustworthy manner, and follow up consistently and systematically. Warmth on the phone, persistence, and independence are essential, as is a willingness to thoroughly understand both the product and the day-to-day realities of farm operations.
