Safety and Loss Prevention Engineer
Purpose
The Engineer's purpose is to contribute to the design and engineering of reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support projects and the organization's operational and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for selecting methods and procedures, performing the work, and optimizing the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards, and regulations.
- You are responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within the agreed time frame, as well as ensuring system interfaces.
- You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
- You ensure applicable lessons learned are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
- You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
Education
- Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline

- 0 to 5 years in any industry
