Job summary

Via Amsterdam is op zoek naar Room Attendants om deel uit te maken van een jonge en energieke team. Met 200 kamers en bijna 1000 bedden te verzorgen, ben je onderdeel van de dynamische housekeepingafdeling waarin we samen werken en iedere dag samen starten en eindigen.

De dienst is parttime en omvat overdag, met ruimte voor groei via de Via Academy. Basis Engels is handig maar niet verplicht; wij helpen je taalvaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen binnen een multiculturele werkomgeving.

Qualifications

• Nauwkeurigheid en aandacht voor detail.
• Vermogen om werk te plannen binnen richtlijnen.
• Teamspeler die ook zelfstandig kan werken.
• Beschikbaarheid overdag en in het weekend.

Responsibilities

• Dagelijks onderhoud van dorms, tweepersoonskamers en suites.
• Periodieke schoonmaaktaken zoals ontkalking en raamreiniging.
• Volgen van veiligheids-, Arbo- en HACCP-richtlijnen.

Room Attendant @Via Amsterdam

Via Amsterdam is looking for Room Attendants to become part ofour young and energetic team. With 200 rooms (with close to a 1000 beds, the majority in shared rooms) to clean almost every day, you are sure to join the most dynamic department in the hotel. A gym membership won't be needed anymore! ;)What is best about being part of the housekeeping team is... Being part of the housekeeping team. As we all know, there is no I in team and this philosophy is imbedded in the housekeeping department. We start and finish the day TOGETHER!

A workday includes:

• A daytime shift, from 9.00 - 17.00, so always home on time for dinner!
• Attendance to our daily morning meeting with the whole housekeeping team.
• Daily stay-over and check-out cleaning of the dorms, twins and suites.
• Periodical cleaning tasks such as descaling, window cleaning, turning of mattresses etc.
• Following guidelines with regards to safety, Arbo, hygiene and HACCP.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

• You work with attention to detail.
• You know how toplan your work within given guidelines; e.g. Understand how to efficiently clean a room.
• You enjoy supporting other team members and you help wherever they need. Working independently is more than okay for you, but you also do not mind working together as a team.
• You are available daytime / weekends (but not all, we ensure a healthy balance).
• Basic English is helpful for the role, but not required. We can assist in growing your language skills. It is not necessary to speak Dutch.
