Job summary

IntoMachines B.V. is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop the software stack for semi-automatic bolting tools and autonomous robots used in wind turbines.

The role emphasizes Python/C coding, state machines, back-end and front-end development, and online databases for bolting parameters. You will work in a hands-on environment, test code in a workshop, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure field readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python robotics experience (industry)
• Backend development experience with REST APIs and databases
• Experience with state machines or event-driven architectures
• Desktop GUI experience (CustomTkinter, PyQt, Tkinter) is a plus
• Familiarity with Linux (Raspberry Pi) and Git/CI–CD pipelines
• Knowledge of C in parts of the software stack
• Docker experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Write Python/C code and develop the software stack for semi-automatic bolting tools and autonomous robots
• Design and implement state machines and back-end/front-end components for operator usage
• Develop online databases for bolting parameters storage
• Ensure robust, readable code with tests and field readiness
• Collaborate with hardware teams and conduct hardware/software testing in the workshop
