Job summary

Accenture the Netherlands is seeking a driven Risk professional to lead AI-enabled risk transformation within financial services, pensions, and insurance sectors. You will join our Strategy & Consulting - Risk practice to partner with banks and FS organisations on governance, analytics, and modernization initiatives.

You will collaborate with risk specialists, data scientists and regulatory experts to deliver impactful risk solutions, embracing AI, regulatory change and resilient risk frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk consulting or a risk function within banking, financial services, pension funds or insurance.
• Solid foundation in Risk Governance & Oversight, Risk Analytics & Intelligence and/or Operational Risk Management.
• Hands-on experience with AI or advanced analytics in a regulated environment (model development, deployment, validation or governance).
• Exposure to risk-related system implementations (e.g. credit origination, GRC tooling, risk data platforms).
• Ability to translate complex regulatory and risk requirements into clear business and technical solutions.

From day one, you will take ownership of workstreams, accelerate your development and build strong, long-term client relationships-working alongside risk specialists, data scientists and regulatory experts to deliver meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

Risk Governance & Oversight

• Support AI governance, model risk and risk framework design, including controls lifecycle management
• Strengthen oversight, controls and compliance across risk functions

Risk Analytics & Intelligence

• Deliver financial risk modelling, scenario analysis and stress testing
• Leverage data, automation and machine learning to enhance risk insights and decision-making

Operational Risk Management

• Design and enhance operational risk frameworks, embedding data, automation and AI-driven capabilities
• Help clients strengthen resilience through improved controls and intelligent risk management

AI Implementation in Risk (at the core)

• Support the transition from proof-of-concept to production-grade AI
• Embed machine learning into risk pipelines and deploy automated control testing
• Build auditable AI-driven solutions, including risk co-pilots

What you’ll need

• Experience in risk consulting or a risk function within banking, financial services, pension funds or insurance
• A solid foundation in Risk Governance & Oversight, Risk Analytics & Intelligence and/or Operational Risk Management
• Hands-on experience with AI or advanced analytics in a regulated environment (e.g. model development, deployment, validation or governance)
• Exposure to risk-related system implementations (e.g. credit origination, GRC tooling, risk data platforms)
• Ability to translate complex regulatory and risk requirements into clear business and technical solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior audiences
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage
