Job summary

Monks is seeking a Revenue Control Analyst to join the Corporate team. The successful candidate will assist the finance team to execute billing operations, revenue recognition analysis, and implementation of scalable systems and processes.

You will review contracts for IFRS15, collaborate with partners for revenue scheduling, resolve delivery discrepancies, reconcile COGS accruals, and develop metrics for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in accounting, revenue/billing experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and large data sets.
• Ability to communicate in English, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to prioritize competing demands and learn quickly.
• Experience in AdTech or technology startups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts/IOs/SOWs to ensure appropriate approval and IFRS15 requirements.
• Collaborate cross functionally with business partners for appropriate revenue scheduling.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to resolve proof of delivery discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis in order accurately reflect net revenue.
• Develop and maintain metrics for senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements and coordinate with other departments to improve billing/accounting process efficiency.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Excel in analytical and problem solving skills
• You are able to prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to work with various computer systems and large data sets
• Ease of learning and adaptation: we have the ability to change fast
• Experience in AdTech or technology startups preferred
