Job summary

UNIQLO, part of the Fast Retailing Group, is seeking a Maintenance Manager on a 6-month contract based in our Amsterdam Office. You will oversee maintenance for stores and the Head Office, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure safety, performance and exceptional store environments.

The role requires English fluency, hands-on problem solving, and strong planning skills. Dutch language is a plus, with travel across the Netherlands and a focus on delivering cost-effective

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training required.
• 2–3 years in maintenance, preferably retail/hospitality.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Air‑conditioning and electrician certifications are a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel across the Netherlands regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage requests for intervention with preventive and curative maintenance.
• Conduct regular on-site store/head office visits to understand processes and improve efficiency.
• Perform hands-on tasks (painting, drilling, carpentry) as needed.
• Monitor Service Channel and Coupa; onboard new suppliers as required.
• Manage maintenance budgets to support P&L impact and supplier performance.
• Lead tender processes to diversify and improve the supplier base.
• Maintain relationships with stores, landlords, tenants and service providers.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure timely interventions and high service standards.
