Job summary

Withthegrid in Utrecht is seeking a Project Manager EMS to bridge commercial, development, and operations for the Teleport on-site energy management system. You will lead scoping, planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver complex utility-scale projects.

You will represent Withthegrid during implementation and collaborate with engineers to meet commitments. You hold a technical degree and have 2+ years in a PM-related role, with fluency in Dutch and English, and a

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Science, Systems Engineering, or another technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in technical project management, solutions engineering, or systems engineering, ideally in energy.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into bounded technical specifications.
• Comfort with grid compliance or network architectures and asking the right questions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and scoping for complex commercial deals and ensure technical feasibility before contracts.
• Prepare a work breakdown structure and allocate resources within teams.
• Facilitate risk assessments and manage risks during project execution, applying lessons learned.
• Be the face of Withthegrid to customer stakeholders and coordinate with third-party interfaces to ensure seamless Teleport integration.
• Prepare testing protocols aligned with quality standards and oversee acceptance tests by operations engineers.
• Ensure high-quality handover to the operational phase after customer acceptance.
