Job summary

Aegis Vision is seeking a software engineer to advance NIRIS baseline development with a focus on full-stack capabilities. You will refine Java modules, uplift front-end components with TypeScript/Angular, and ensure robust RESTful integrations across distributed systems.

You will contribute to DevOps practices, implement automated tests, and enhance logging and interoperability with external systems, while maintaining secure software development standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a full-stack focus.
• 3+ years in Java-based development using modern frameworks and backend environments.
• 2+ years of TypeScript/Angular front-end development.
• 2+ years of RESTful services, messaging or data-exchange interfaces.
• 3+ years of DevOps, CI/CD, GitLab, pipelines and artifact repositories.
• Experience with containerization and Linux-based deployments (Docker).
• Experience with interoperability standards and secure software practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain NIRIS software modules per requirements and direction.
• Refactor Java modules to align with LTS runtimes and remove deprecated constructs.
• Support full software lifecycle from analysis to release preparation.
• Create and execute unit and automated tests to improve quality.
• Enhance logging, troubleshooting, and incident isolation across components.
• Ensure interoperability with external systems and data providers.
