Job summary

Partner Company in the Netherlands seeks an Epic BI Report Developer to design, implement, and optimize Epic BI reports across revenue cycle, clinical, and operational areas. You will translate business needs into technical specifications and act as a subject matter expert on Epic reporting capabilities.

The role demands hands-on experience with Epic report development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, plus strong collaboration with clinical, IT, and data teams in a large healthcare

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in health, science, business, IT, informatics, or related field, or at least five years of relevant experience.
• Active Epic Cogito certification or accreditation.
• Strong knowledge of clinical information systems, healthcare informatics, data management, and reporting.
• Experience implementing, developing, and supporting information systems within a large-scale healthcare organization.
• Hands-on experience with Epic report development, configuration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
• Ability to analyze reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and practical solutions.
• Experience supporting reporting projects involving multiple applications, departments, or stakeholder groups.
• Strong collaboration skills with clinical, operational, IT, Epic application, and data warehouse teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver reporting solutions independently in a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize Epic reporting and BI solutions across revenue cycle, clinical, and operational functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic reporting capabilities, tools, workflows, and data.
• Lead and support reporting initiatives through the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
• Develop and enhance reports that support operational performance, clinical workflows, revenue cycle initiatives, regulatory requirements, and organizational decision-making.
• Investigate complex reporting, data, and application issues and coordinate resolution with Epic teams.
• Support Epic upgrades, enhancements, configuration changes, and optimization initiatives affecting reporting and data.
• Verify report accuracy, data integrity, functionality, and performance before deployment.
• Work with data warehouse and analytics teams to ensure proper use and interpretation of Epic data.
• Maintain technical documentation, reporting specifications, test records, and support procedures while guiding cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to standardize reporting processes, improve usability, and optimize performance.
