Job summary

Jumbo in Veghel zoekt een betrouwbare vrachtwagenchauffeur die verantwoordelijk is voor het tijdig leveren van verse producten aan winkels in Zuid-Nederland en België. Je werkt met een flexibele planning van 16 tot 40 uur per week, voornamelijk van woensdag tot zondag. We bieden een uurloon tussen €18,45 en €20,24 bruto en diverse voordelen.

Qualifications

• Valide CE-rijbewijs met Code 95.
• Minimaal 1 jaar ervaring met het rijden van een oplegger.

• Fysiek fit en vloeiend in het Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Lever verse producten van het distributiecentrum naar Jumbo-winkels.
• Laad en los goederen bij de winkels.
• Rijd veilig en verantwoordelijk, en vertegenwoordig Jumbo professioneel.
• Werk samen met winkelpersoneel voor tijdige bezorgingen.
• Pas je aan aan flexibele werktijden, inclusief weekenden en avonden.

Over de functie

As a vtruck driver at Jumbo, you will play a key role in ensuring that our stores in South Netherlands and Belgium are stocked with fresh products on time. You’ll be driving from our distribution center in Veghel to various stores, delivering goods and assisting with loading and unloading. With the support of a tablet in your truck, you’ll have real-time updates to ensure smooth operations and collaboration with store teams. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll work on a schedule that suits both your preferences and our operational needs, including weekends and evenings.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver: fresh products from the Veghel distribution center to Jumbo stores in South Netherlands and Belgium.
• Load and unload: goods at stores and reload empty crates, roll containers, and returnable bottles for transport back to the distribution center.
• Drive: safely and responsibly, representing Jumbo as a professional and courteous driver.
• Collaborate: with store staff to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, supported by real-time updates via your truck’s tablet.
• Adapt: to flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, while maintaining a good work-life balance.

• Travel allowance up to €14.70 net per day.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for a reliable and skilled truck driver who values safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

• Possess a valid CE driving license with Code 95.
• At least 1 year of experience driving a semi-trailer.
• Available 16-40 hours weekly, mainly Wednesday to Sunday.
• Willing to work Saturdays bi-weekly; Sundays are a plus.
• Physically fit and fluent in Dutch or English.
