Job summary

Robin Radar Systems in the Netherlands seeks a Deep Learning Engineer to turn radar signal data into real-time detection models. You will design, train, and deploy neural networks that enhance radar performance and safeguard critical sites globally.

You will collaborate with AI, software, hardware, and product management teams to translate complex modalities into actionable models for edge deployment and robust field validation. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• 2-4 years of Deep Learning experience, especially in Computer Vision.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills.
• Experience with edge deployment and model optimization tools (TensorRT, ONNX).
• Familiarity with radar/sonar/LiDAR or related non-natural signal modalities.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Proactive mindset and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimize deep learning models for detection, segmentation, and classification in radar data.
• Build architectures to detect and track small objects amid noise and weather.
• Prepare, preprocess, and augment large radar datasets for training pipelines; implement automated labeling strategies.
• Optimize models for high-performance inference on edge hardware and integrate into production systems.
• Evaluate emerging DL techniques and validate models under diverse field conditions.
