Job summary

Hero Center in the Utrecht region seeks an experienced React front-end developer to build new features with TypeScript, translate designs into accessible interfaces, and collaborate with product and back-end teams.

You will focus on UI/UX, performance, and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance while working partly remote in consultation. The role offers a company laptop, 25 vacation days, and room to explore ideas and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a frontend developer.
• Strong UI/UX passion and collaboration with designers and backend developers.
• Experience with AI and prototyping.
• Ability to translate user flows and designs into accessible interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Developing new frontend in React and TypeScript.
• Translating user flows, wireframes, and designs into accessible, scalable interfaces.
• Improving existing screens and interactions based on feedback, user insights, and product goals.
• Working out, refining, and testing designs and prototypes using AI.

As a React front-end developer, you will join the development team at Hero Center, where you will collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, content creators, and a product owner. Your role involves not only building new functionalities but also contributing to their design, feel, and functionality for users. You will develop new front-end features using React and TypeScript, translate user flows and designs into accessible interfaces, and enhance existing screens based on feedback and insights.
