Job summary

Olympia Maastricht is seeking a dedicated Freezer Reach Truck Driver to manage the freezer department for our client, a leading wholesale partner to hospitality professionals. Based in the Maastricht branch, you will inspect products, prepare shipments, and assist with loading and unloading in a busy cold environment.

The role requires a valid reach truck certificate, comfort with -25°C, night shifts 22:00–07:00, and good Dutch or English language.

Qualifications

• Able to work in cold conditions and at night (22:00–07:00).
• Physically capable of lifting up to 10 kg.
• Good command of Dutch or English.

Job description

As a Freezer reachtruck driver for one of our clients in Maastricht, you are responsible for managing the entire freezer department. You'll be working for a leading wholesaler for the hospitality industry, a family business with locations across the Netherlands and Belgium. The Maastricht branch covers more than 4,000 m² and offers over 100,000 products from around the world, all aimed at hospitality professionals. Your tasks include inspecting products, preparing them for shipment, and assisting with loading and unloading activities. You will work in a dynamic environment where flexibility and strong physical condition are essential.

Your tasks include:

• Full responsibility for the freezer department.
• Inspect goods for damages and check expiration dates.
• Prepare products for shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
• Work in cold conditions down to -25°C.

• A valid reachtuck certificate.
• Comfortable working in cold conditions and working in nightshifts. (22:00 - 07:00).
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Lifting boxes up to 10 kg is no problem for you.
• You have a good command of the Dutch OR English language.

• A job you can start within just a few days.
• A position available from Monday till Friday.
• A fulltime contract for 40 hours per week
• A gross hourly wage between €15 and €16 + €0,79 additional environmental allowance.
